Beginner
Hi, I’m Deb. I live in Plymouth and just recently started learning and playing with a group of friends — but would love to get more practice in. I also have A LOT to learn. Any suggestions for ways to get proper instruction (there’s a lot to read online and not sure how accurate it all is) or where I can join some beginner level games? So glad to find this community!

While you are on the site, you can also see some of the different events that are available to join as well. Here on the community page, we are actually working on (right this minute actually), creating some open play game nights as well!

I am another Deb. H. from Plymouth and looking for a beginner friendly group. I am not available on Monday nights until end of May, but available many days and evenings if someone is looking for a 4th. Looking forward to becoming a regular weekly (or more) player. I just finished Dawn Hach's wonderful lessons at Studio 170 in Northville.
Hi Jody and Deb H - wondering if you might be available to play some time other than Monday nights, since we are all nearby one another. My mom also plays and could be our 4th. Let me know if that is of any interest to each of you.
I am usually free in the evenings and most days. If you give me this week to finish a few things, including next week out of town, I will be ready to do it. So anxious to have a regular-ish time to play. Let me know what you come up with.
Deb Haller den, you could set up an open play yourself- at a place you know will work. (Just ask manager if it’s ok, etc), then let us all know. I’m sure there are other people who would love to play. There’s also an open play Thursday nights at the Northville community center, $1 cost.
Thanks, Olivia. I will work on that in the next few weeks. I was at the Thursday night Northville last week; have to miss the next two, but will be back there.
