Hi, I’m Dawn

I’m so glad you’re here.

I’m the founder of The Mahjong Mingle, and like many of you, my love for mahjong started simply because I wanted to spend more time with friends. The game came next. Then the strategy. Then the beautiful tiles, the tables, and the realization that this game creates something bigger than play.

The Social House and grew out of that same idea. A place to gather, to learn, to ask questions, and to enjoy the game together without pressure or pretension.

Most days you’ll find me teaching, hosting, answering questions, or chasing “just one more hand.” I believe mahjong is at its best when it’s shared, when everyone feels welcome at the table, and when learning is part of the fun.

I’ll start things off here, but I’d love to hear from you. Tell us where you play, how long you’ve been playing, or what you enjoy most about the game. There’s no right way to introduce yourself.
